Medical Aid

Emergency Treatment, Sterilisation, Preventive care, Checkups
Just like the dogs at home, the dogs that are living their life as a stray need regular medical checkups to ensure that they are healthy. This is especially important, as unlike the home dogs, they are exposed to many more dangerous elements. Living on the streets means that they are always exposed to sun and rain and there is always a risk that they eat or drink something wrong, they get hit by cars, they get into fights with other dogs over territories and they get viruses or diseases. We do not think that just because they do not have owners, or just because they are street dogs, they should be left to suffer and die without treatment. Some people might think that this is a waste of money, however these dogs never had a choice. If they could, wouldn't they want to live out their lives in a home, getting loved, pampered and care? An emergency medical fund is so important as when a dog is sick, he doesn't know what it means to wait for money, and many times, veterinary clinic require a deposit to be place when admitting a dog.

Rescuing is not easy, neither is it cheap. We constantly need funds to help pay off our rescue dogs bills, boarding and even our stray's food.
Please help contribute to the care of our street dogs if you can, within your means.

Sterilisation Program
Sterilisation is our main priority when it comes to any street dogs we meet, however the cost of sterilisation can extremely expensive as each dog adds up. A sterilisation can easily cost anywhere from $200-$350/dog. That's already $3500 for 10 dogs, and yes, there are that many dogs needing sterilisation. We believe that sterilisation is the most humane way of controlling the population, thus we do have a T-N-R-M policy. (Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage) We do vaccinate the dogs before they are released, this is to ensure they do not catch transmittable diseases such as Canine Parvovirus or Canine Distemper, the two most common diseases that can easily wipe out an entire population of dogs. The dogs also die from a slow, painful and torturous death.
