Cara was rescued when she was 1 month old. An accident that happened when she was young resulted in 2 broken legs. Her back leg healed well as a puppy, but her front leg didn't heal so well. As she was still a growing puppy, surgery had to be put off until she was fully grown before she can have a surgery to correct the break.
Cara is now 3 years old and have consulted the vets many times who felt that is was not necessary to go for the surgery as even after the surgery, she may still walk with a limp. She is very healthy otherwise, no health issues. She does not have any issues with the leg and can run and walk albeit with a limp. Cara is now looking for her forever home, one that can accept her minor imperfection and love her the way she is. She walks well on the leash, fully paper trained and outdoor trained and even gets along with other dogs very well. |
